Burlington, MA, March 14th, 2017– UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, announces that it has been selected by the Austrian Armed Forces to deliver an ATTower® ATC Training Solution to Langenlebarn Air Base. Selected through a competitive tendering procedure, the turnkey UFA solution includes the ATTower software product suite, hardware, consoles, and 3D aerodrome visual model.
UFA will deliver a multi-channel ATView® HD LCD-based display system for display of the 3D aerodrome visual model and simulated traffic situation. The Controllers in Training will have access to all the tools and controls typical of the tower environment such as surface surveillance display, approach surveillance display, weather information display, lighting control panel, and an ATRadio® simulated voice communication system for air/ground and ground/ground communications.
ATTower provides high fidelity simulation of high performance aircraft and helicopters allowing the Austrian Armed Forces to simulate complex military operations to achieve the highest level Controller training program. This proven technology is already in use by the US, Israeli and Belgian militaries.
