Burlington, MA., April 16, 2018 – UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, announced that its ATTower® Tower Simulator and ATCoach® Radar Simulator will be traveling around the United States as a feature of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) Spirit of Aviation Mobile Experience.
UFA, in partnership with the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA), introduced the simulators to the Mobile Experience for the first time in 2017 during EAA’s AirVenture Oshkosh in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. UFA created a custom mobile kiosk featuring interactive simulations of Oshkosh Airport and Academy Approach. The simulators, used for training of professional Air Traffic Controllers, include UFA’s industry leading voice recognition and response product, ATVoice®, as well as high-fidelty out-of-the-window visuals and realistic radar displays. As the Mobile Experience travels across the United States, visitors have the opportunity to experience being a Tower or Radar “Controller for a Day”. Who doesn’t want to be a Controller at Oshkosh, the busiest Tower in the World, during the week of AirVenture?
