UFA, Inc. Delivers ATVehicle to ANA Luxembourg

Burlington, MA., May 22, 2019 – UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, announces it has delivered its ATVehicle™ Airside Driving Simulator to Air Navigation Administration (ANA), the service provider of air navigation in Luxembourg.

ANA’s ATVehicle system can simulate 16 different vehicle types inclusive of trucks, inspection vehicles, and special utility vehicles such as fire engines and catering trucks. The custom, high fidelity 3D database of Luxembourg Airport (ELLX) is equipped with advanced features including Foreign Object Debris (FOD) removal and Checkpoint and Access Control to critical areas which require ATC approval.

“When using the system, it becomes immediately clear how well it replicates the airfield of Luxembourg and the challenges encountered while operating a vehicle,” says Christian Reinecke, UFA Business Development. “Students immerse into a complex scenario and learn how to handle standard and emergency situations. We are delighted to provide this sophisticated training tool to ANA and make this important contribution to the success of ANA’S training organization.”

The addition of ATVehicle supports ANA’s compliance with current rules and regulations, ensures safer operations at the airport, and reduces training time on the airfield. ANA, one of UFA’s newest customers, will increase training capacity for the growing number of airside drivers.
