UFA Delivers ATTower® Hardware and Software Refresh to Fort Riley

Burlington, MA., May 16, 2018 – UFA, Inc. (UFA), a leading provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, announced that it has successfully delivered a hardware and software refresh to Marshall Army Airfield in Fort Riley, Kansas, home of the 1st Infantry Division.

The hardware refresh provides new computer hardware including an HD LCD based visual system. The software upgrade delivers significant enhancements based on UFA’s ongoing product development efforts. Important to Fort Riley is ATTower’s comprehensive and realistic aircraft modelling that supports unique military operations. Fort Riley utilizes ATVoice® voice recognition and response to offer added value by minimizing the staffing impact during training and simulation runtimes.

“This project is a direct reflection of UFA’s commitment to the lasting relationships we build with our customers,” says Sean Connolly, UFA ATC Specialist who supported the refresh efforts. “Fort Riley is one of many military customers we have served for almost 10 years and they continue to seek UFA simulation solutions. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with the team at Fort Riley.”

Fort Riley also utilizes the embedded ATCoach® simulator in their STARS installation, and a standalone ATCoach with ATVoice voice recognition to train PAR approaches.
